Welcome to Shourounis Studio
Rooted in an ongoing exploration of plants and animals across varied environments, Amanda’s ceramics are rich with texture and detail. Mushrooms curl and cluster, surfaces ripple and grow, and some pieces even hold their own little ecosystem.
Her work reflects a sense of wonder and attentiveness, the kind that comes from really noticing the beauty and complexity that can be found during a simple walk in nature.
Treasures from the Natural World
Bring a touch of the forest to your daily ritual with this one-of-a-kind handcrafted mug. Made from rich red stone clay, this piece is finished with a mossy green and earthy brown glaze. The standout feature is its sculpted mushroom handle, adding a whimsical, storybook charm while remaining comfortable to hold.
Each mug is individually crafted, giving it unique variations in color, glaze movement, and character.

A ceramic vase adorned with sculpted calla lilies and flowing organic leaves. Deep blues and green glazes create a rich, moody backdrop that highlights the soft ivory flowers and natural forms. A mother-of-pearl luster embellishes the flower petals. Inspired by botanical illustration and garden textures, the piece balances sculptural detail with functional design.
Beautiful as a standalone object or filled with fresh blooms.

This one-of-kind mug is designed to feel like it was pulled straight from an ancient forest. Wheel thrown from rich red stoneware clay, it begins with a solid form that is then transformed entirely by hand. The exterior is carefully sculpted into the appearance of a twisted tree trunk with speckled matte glaze, giving it its own living character.

Bring a piece of the forest into your home with this handcrafted ceramic jar, inspired by the textures and treasures found on a woodland floor. The body is carefully carved with a realistic bark texture, creating the appearance of a weathered tree trunk.
Topping the lid is a sculpted morel mushroom resting on a gently curved leaf, serving as both a functional knob and a charming focal point.
